Privacy Policy

The following explains the ways in which Equintium.com collects user data and how it keeps sensitive information safe.

Equintium.com does not exchange or sell information collected through the registration process (email, username, password, IP address, etc.) with any other players or third party sources. Any information that might jepordize a player's online privacy is kept private and accessed only in emergency situations or situations deemed appropriate by the owner of the game and the Grand Council (when in a case of disciplinary action).

Equintium's Grand Council (Moderator Team) does not have access to player login information at a random time. As of June 2008, all player passwords are irreversibly encrypted when they are stored on the database to ensure that passwords (which are often used in multiple locations on the internet) remain private to their owner. Only the owner of the game has the power to log into other player's accounts but doing this does not reveal the player's password. Passwords remain completely private and cannot be retrieved because of their irreversible encryption. You may only reset your password. Information acquired during the purchase of credits via PayPal remains private and the sole property of the owner of the game. Private credentials are shared with no one.

Equintium.com tracks information by its players' only when they are on www.equintium.com. The game stores only a cookie on the user's computer in order to remember login information. Any information regarding a player's activity on the game itself is kept private in a database and does not get shared with anyone.

Equintium.com is backed up entirely every night. This allows the game to return the last stable point, which is never further than 24 hours back in history. Should any issues arise where the game's backend is corrupted or the game experiences severe exploitation, the backend management has been designed to keep all player information as private as possible and also easy to restore. We hope that you will enjoy these security benefits which Equintium works hard to provide its players. Thank you for playing!
