TRADING CLASSES
Donated by Nature, #1775 Trading classes is an excellent way to benefit from getting as much training as possible for your horses. However, since trading classes is basically a loose agreement made between players who may or may not take the process as seriously as others, we feel a need to lay down some ground rules. We want to keep the game fun for everyone, and we would hate to think that any of our players would attempt to cheat other players out of what is rightfully theres. The rules listed here are designed to keep everything fun, friendly, and most of all, fair. GENERAL GUIDELINES: 1. Once a trading agreement has been established, classes should be made within 20 minutes. 2. If you know that you will not be able to get the classes done within the 20 minute timeframe, YOU MUST tell the other player during the trading conversation. 3. Life sometimes comes in the way and you have to abruptly leave the game unexpected. If this happens, you need to send a message to the other player as soon as you return to the game. The player has the right to ask for a $15,000 fee for every 10 classes promised. (see comment below marked with **) 4. If a player is simply abandoned after making someone's classes and receives no explanation on why their classes were not made, that player has a right to contact a Moderator and punishments may be enforced. If you feel you have been shorted on classes, here's what we need you to do: 1. Send a message to the player requesting $15,000 for every 10 classes shorted. The player has 24 hours to respond. 2. If you receive no response after 24 hours, submit a Problem Ticket to the Moderator pool. We will send a message to the player as a final warning. They have another 24 hours to respond to the Moderator warning. 3. If the Moderator does not receive a response for more than 24 hours, we reserve the right to fine up to $500,000 for every 10 classes shorted or even ban the player at fault, depending on the severity and circumstances. If you receive a message from a player or Moderator regarding classes you may or may not have made: Respond IMMEDIATELY. We understand that mistakes happen, but ignoring the warning WILL NOT make the problem go away. We will assume that you are not willing to cooperate, and we will take appropriate action. SPECIAL RULES FOR DAILY TRADING: 1. ONLY COMMIT TO DAILY TRADING IF YOU CAN COMMIT TO SPENDING AT LEAST 15-30 MINUTES ON THE GAME EVERY DAY. 2. When entering into an agreement for a daily trade, make sure all terms are clear before you commit. 3. If you cannot make classes on a particular day, use common courtesy. Send a message to the player asking them to either skip a day of your classes or be paid for the classes they have already made at the standard rate of $15,000 for every 10 classes. 4. IF YOU DO NOT LET YOUR TRADING PARTNER KNOW YOU NEED TO SKIP A DAY AND GET CAUGHT, YOU ARE SUBJECT TO THE ABOVE FINES AND PUNISHMENT BY MODERATORS. ALSO KEEP THESE RULES IN MIND.... All classes running the following day NEED TO BE MADE BY 8:00 PM EI TIME THE PREVIOUS DAY. (For example, if your shows run on Friday, you need to have all previously-traded classes made by Thursday at 8:00 PM.) This, of course, does not apply if you are making classes for yourself, or the trading agreement was actually initiated AFTER the 8:00 PM deadline. **Most players do not appreciate repeatedly being paid for classes they had agreed to trade for. If this becomes excessive, the player being paid has a right to complain to a mod who will take further action as appropriate. IF YOU ARE TRADING CLASSES WITH OTHER PLAYERS, IT IS ASSUMED THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE RULES AND HAVE AGREED TO COMPLY. |
