Terms Of Service
Last Modified on May 17, 2011.

By visiting Equintium.com and its related websites (which includes anything with equintium.com in the address), you must abide by the following rules and guidelines.

The following behaviors and actions are not permitted on Equintium:
  1. Scripting or any other device which facilitates easier and unfair gameplay.
  2. Training/showing a horse in a way other than how the game intended (such as using a training aid, a script, etc.)
  3. Having more than three accounts (including a partner account) UNLESS every account you have is upgraded. If every account you have/own/have possession of is upgraded, there is no account limit. “Watching” an account for someone else is against the rules if it puts you over the account limit. If siblings play on the same computer, there is a maximum of four accounts per IP address.
  4. Cheating, hacking, scamming, spamming, harassing, disrespecting, the use of slander or profane language, referencing explicit material, or disagreement with the final decision of a moderator.
  5. Putting music or streaming media on your stable page or decorating your page in a way that makes playing EI difficult for others.
  6. Asking or providing goods/services for votes in any kind of contest (such as special shows)
  7. Flooding, excessively "bumping," or rudely posting on the Message Board or Chat.
  8. Asking to be a Grand Council Moderator, Federation of Equintium member, or asking for egg points.
  9. Making references to “noobs” or “elites” or any other word/phrase which disrespectfully groups Equintium's players.
  10. “Holding” classes or failing to complete a class trade. (For info on trading classes, click here.)
  11. Bribing players to join Equintium to gain more referral points.
  12. Advertising anything for real money unless permission from #1 has been granted.
  13. Taking advantage of the game's bugs, loopholes, or the game in general. Moderators must be informed immediately and privately if a situation in this context arises.
  14. Being a source of discontent within the game or damaging to its reputation.
  15. Accessing a private area or feature of the game (such as the Titanium center if one is not a titanium or Moderator features if one is not a moderator). If you find something that you feel should not be viewable to the public but is, you must report it privately and immediately.
  16. Sharing your login information (username and password) with anyone.
  17. Acting as a moderator (mini-modding) or impersonating a staff member.

Administration Information

All players are required to have a general knowledge of what is contained in the Help Center ’s documents.

Moderators serve the right to punish a player if they deem it to be necessary for the well being of Equintium, regardless of what offense has been committed.

Titanium players, Moderators, or FOE members must still abide by all rules and are subject to the same punishments as any other player.

If you do not like how the game is run, you may leave at any time. iPaige, Redesigned, and the game administration are open to and willing to listen to ideas or comments on how the game is run; however, players should not and can not expect that gameplay will be altered to their personal preferences unless there is a strong, legitimate reason to do so.

Although an effort is made to answer all questions, response to any email or message is never guarunteed. If the problem, question, or concern can be found elsewhere on the game (like the Message Board or the FAQs) or if a response is not necessary, a reply will most likely not be given. If a player continues to send emails or EI messages in order to get a response, they could face punishment due to spamming.

The moderators treat each player as an individual when discussing punishments. For this reason, it is highly frowned upon that you make references to other players in an attempt to justify whatever it is that you may have done. Please be respectful of all players on the game and allow the moderators to independently come to a decision.

Equintium IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for any hotlinked or stolen material and will not tolerate the stealing of any material. Hotlinking of images or the use of any material without written permission from the creator of the material in question is not allowed and further action may be taken not only with the administration of EI but possible legal action by the owner of the copyrighted material. You cannot steal another player's images or content without that player's permission. Players who have had their content stolen and duplicated elsewhere on the game have a right to politely ask the player to remove their work immediately. If the player in question does not remove the content as asked, moderators can be involved.

INFORMATION ON PARTNERSHIPS
Equintium allows partnerships (two or more people sharing one or more accounts), but they are not encouraged, especially large partnerships (four or more people on an account). In the eyes of the administration, an account where player names must be abbreviated to only the first letter of each player's name to fit inside the length limit makes for a very unfair situation to the majority of other players, who would prefer to play EI on their own without the intimidation and power that comes with many people working on a single account.
Equintium is not responsible for solving conflicts between partners or on partnered accounts. This includes the early retirement of horses, stealing of money or horses, and other damages one partner may inflict on the other partner(s). If it is deemed that the actions in question were not due to error by the game's coding, no further action will be taken by the moderators or administration.

Thank you for taking the time to familiarize yourself with some basic principles of Equintium. If you have any further questions it is asked that you consult the message boards (because your question may very well have already been asked by someone with the same or similar question), the Rules and EIC. Thank you and enjoy your stay on Equintium.
